At work trying to keep my sanity. I’m at my computer so I plugged in my music for some inspiration. Rockin’ out to some of the songs on my set list that did not get the airtime they deserve. Sometimes a two-hour show just is not enough!

Some Save Ferris, GBH, Donkey Punch (Mullet Lifestyle), and Exploited…..these will head up next Monday’s show.

News flash- Tony D got himself a computer (and it works!) now and should start blogging soon! I can only imagine the shit he has got to say! All I can say is send the children to bed before reading.

The verdict:

Punk – a post modern pale ale from Scotland…

Tasty.

It looked by its light color that it would be weak, but it has plenty of flavor, very bubbly and a solid long-lasting head.

The bottle does say, “Punk IPA” but I found little in flavor to suggest it is an India Pale Ale. It does however have a solid APA taste in my opinion.

Damn pricy!

$13.95 for a 4/pack!!! Ouch!

Had to try it if they named it punk.

Found a new beer called PUNK IPA. It is out of Fraserburgh, Scotland by a company called Brew Dog. I will quote the description on the bottle….

“BrewDog: Beer for Punks”

“BrewDog’s beers are the epitome of pure punk. We brew uncompromising, bold and irreverent beer, beer with a soul and a purpose. Ditch the mainstream and say hello to BrewDog.”

It is described as a post modern classic pale ale, I will properly chill and sample this brew and give my official grade on their work. Oh, yes…. I will be enjoying some great tunes as I sip the nectar that is beer!

Soul Radics on 3.1 and 3.2. 3.1 in chicago.... big ska fest! 3.2 is an intimate setting in Chesterton. I do not know if tix are the deal at the 3.2 show but I would think it is first come first in deal..... so deal.

Time to transfer my beer into a carboy for secondary fermentation..... mmmmm... fermentation!
I so like brewing beer. Just need to make more time for it.

I was just trying to think of some guests that might not be punk bands but that would be way fun to have on the show. We years ago had the ghost bustin' nuts telling some great stories of local paranormal finds. Brewed my own beer last night..... creative muse or hard economic times? Come to think of it I was not listening to any tunes while I was a brewin' ?!?!? What the hell?!?!?!
